The New York Cares Coat Drive is back for our 36th year to warm up New York!
Building on our historic partnership with We †NYC and all NY Sports leagues and teams last year, we are returning this year with a city-wide campaign to collect and distribute warm winter coats, and provide essential programs that bring companionship, dignity, and financial stability to New Yorkers facing isolation and hardship.
Because everyone deserves a coat.

This winter, just $25 keeps 10 New Yorkers warm and provides essential programs that help break the cycle of poverty. Every dollar counts.
đŠStart a collection
Mobilize your friends, family, and coworkers to start your coat collection. All it takes is a poster and a box prominently placed to help make sure someone's winter is a little bit warmer.
đDonate a coat
Find a location near you collecting new and gently-used coats. We have public collection sites in every borough!
đ€Sort coats
Help sort and pack coat orders for nonprofits and schools receiving coats from our warehouse.
