Team Leaders are the secret to our success. These volunteers manage our corps of volunteers in the field and work behind the scenes with our staff and nonprofit partners. They are the reason we can reach 400,000 New Yorkers in need each year.
The Team Leader application process involves four simple steps:
- Attend an orientation session and participate in three New York Cares projects
- Complete a short application
- Schedule an interview with New York Cares staff
- Attend a 3-hour Team Leader training session
