Inspiring learning environments play an important role in student success, but New York City public school budgets are stretched to the limit, pushing many revitalization and upkeep projects to the back burner.

Join 7,000 volunteers on New York Cares Day, New York City's largest day of volunteer service, to paint colorful murals, refresh classrooms, organize libraries, and brighten up playgrounds at more than 100 public schools. New York Cares Day is a serve-a-thon — by asking your friends and family to donate in honor of your service, you will ensure our year-round programs can reach even more people.
