Tripp: Outdoor Explorer
Tripp has a long history with New York Cares—he was at the very first New York Cares Day in 1992 and has been an active participant most years since. Outside of helping with our annual events, Tripp regularly leads teams of volunteers and children on adventures picking apples, exploring botanical gardens, and rock wall climbing. As if this were not enough, Tripp passes on his enthusiasm for volunteering at orientations and Team Leader trainings. "For me," Tripp says, "it's not a matter of finding time to volunteer. It's a matter of it being as important to me as anything else I do. It's like finding time to eat."
